What if I told you that being a devoted

homeschool parent actually makes you

2

:

more attractive to money, not less.

3

:

Today we're gonna dive into why your

dedication to your children's education

4

:

is your secret wealth building superpower.

5

:

Let's dive in.

6

:

Intro: A fast growing number

of parents are starting their

7

:

homeschooling journey while others

have been homeschooling for years.

8

:

All of these parents are asking one big

question, how can I afford to homeschool?

9

:

We are here to answer that

important question once and for all.

10

:

Hi, I'm Crystal Obby.

11

:

And I'm Anthony Obby.

12

:

We've been homeschooling our five

kids for 13 years and we funded it.

13

:

Through our online consulting business

that we've been running for over 17

14

:

years now, we're combining Crystal's

financial coaching expertise with my

15

:

digital marketing background where I help

entrepreneurs launch and sell online.

16

:

We're here to help fellow homeschooling

parents self-fund their homeschool

17

:

journey and create lifestyle businesses.

18

:

For financial freedom without a nine to

five job, are you ready to start living

19

:

life on your own terms and make your

homeschooling experience a lot more fun?

20

:

Well then sit back, crank up

the volume, and enjoy this

21

:

episode of Homeschool Money.

22

:

Welcome, welcome, welcome to

Homeschool Money everyone.

23

:

I am your host, Anthony Oby.

24

:

I'm Crystal Oby, and we have an

exciting episode here for you.

25

:

Today we're gonna talk about, now we're

getting into the Abundance series,

26

:

the Abundance affirmation series,

and in we're gonna start off today.

27

:

Saying multiple times so that you

really get it in your mind and

28

:

in your psyche and in your soul.

29

:

This particular affirmation, this is

the abundant provider affirmation.

30

:

Crystal, can you share that affirmation?

31

:

Yes.

32

:

The Abundant Provider affirmation.

33

:

I am a resourceful parent who

attracts multiple streams of

34

:

income that flow effortlessly

around my homeschooling schedule.

35

:

Money comes to me in expected and

unexpected ways, allowing me to

36

:

provide both excellent education and

magical childhood experiences for my

37

:

children with financial abundance.

38

:

This is a powerful affirmation, crystal.

39

:

Why do you think this one

matters so much to parents?

40

:

This affirmation is super important

for us to start with, especially

41

:

because on this show we love to

embody the things that we talk about.

42

:

So I like to start with an affirmation

that is kind of a foundation

43

:

affirmation of all the things that

we'll build on in all 10 of them.

44

:

And so this affirmation is crucial because

it reframes your parenting priorities

45

:

as an asset and not a liability.

46

:

Mm.

47

:

So when you believe that money can work

with your schedule instead of against

48

:

it, you open up yourself to opportunities

that honor both your financial goals

49

:

and your commitment to being present

for your children's education.

50

:

Yeah, it's, it's so interesting.

51

:

I think that when, whenever we get

busier, like as people, we think

52

:

that we are, we, we sort of maybe

subconsciously allow ourselves

53

:

to make excuses of why we should.

54

:

Show up late to things.

55

:

And while we should provide shoddy work,

and, and that's what most people do, but

56

:

top performing people out there, whenever

I think of, of this, I'm, I, I don't know

57

:

why Michael Jordan comes to mind whenever

it is, like you know, the last quarter.

58

:

And, you know, a

championship is on the line.

59

:

What made Jordan so special is his

ability to rise to the occasion and,

60

:

and really take things to a next level

and get into like his, like superpower,

61

:

get into his like glowing energy.

62

:

And I've, I've, I just remember

seeing some highlight reels.

63

:

Of him just going crazy on the

court whenever it mattered the most.

64

:

And we can do the same thing.

65

:

We can choose to level up as parents

and the more children we have, and

66

:

especially when we become homeschooling

parents, we can choose to use that as

67

:

an opportunity to say, I'm not going to

just allow myself to make less income.

68

:

Instead, I'm gonna level

up and I'm going to.

69

:

Find the business opportunity that's

most profitable for myself and provides

70

:

the least amount of stress for myself.

71

:

I'm going to level up my my financial

management, my money management.

72

:

Skillset and install a strong

money management skillset.

73

:

And I'm just gonna take

things to the next level.

74

:

Since I do have more responsibility

and more children and I am

75

:

homeschooling, I'm gonna level up my

financial game instead of allowing

76

:

that aspect of my life to slip.

77

:

1 Comm: Hey, real quick, if you're liking

81

:

episode with a friend, your

co-op, or anyone who needs it.

82

:

They'll be glad you did.

83

:

Now, back to the show.

84

:

So I wanna go ahead and now repeat that

same affirmation that Crystal shared.

85

:

I am a resourceful parent who

attracts multiple streams of income.

86

:

They flow effortlessly around

my homeschooling schedule.

87

:

Money comes to me in expected and

unexpected ways, allowing me to

88

:

provide both excellent education and

magical childhood experiences for my

89

:

children with financial abundance.

90

:

So when we were starting this podcast,

I like to think about our experiences

91

:

on our homeschool journey and the

stories that I end up sharing with

92

:

people when we're talking with

people one-on-one and in groups.

93

:

And so whenever we were talking

about putting together this

94

:

affirmation specifically.

95

:

I was thinking about whenever we had

first started the podcast and we were

96

:

talking about how our value is, we

always want things to be in our own

97

:

lives first, and so I was like, well,

hey, you know, I want to make sure

98

:

that I have an abundant my mindset for.

99

:

Our homeschool life and

always keep that maintained.

100

:

You always have to make sure that

you don't let anything stop that.

101

:

You don't let you know economic news

or situations and things like that.

102

:

It's something that you have to

renew your mind daily, and that's

103

:

why affirmations are so important.

104

:

And so I just wanted to share a few

stories that happened whenever I

105

:

made the decision to make sure that I

personally stayed in an abundant mindset.

106

:

And so the first one is, one day I was

talking about, you know, this, this

107

:

mindset and this podcast, and I went to

the mailbox and looked in the mailbox,

108

:

opened it up, and there was a letter in

there talking about money that was owed to

109

:

me that all I needed to do was claim it.

110

:

I hadn't filled out anything.

111

:

It wasn't anything I was expecting.

112

:

And I was just thinking about, you

know, what, I'm gonna be open to make

113

:

it to, you know, just receiving any

type of abundance that comes to me.

114

:

And I just know there's just plenty in

the world available for us in our family.

115

:

And then boom, this check shows up.

116

:

And I thought it was funny.

117

:

And I was like, look, Anthony,

look, there's this, it is

118

:

this random check, right?

119

:

And it's like, look, homeschool money.

120

:

Homeschool money, right?

121

:

And so I was like, okay, whatever.

122

:

And so then a few days later, I was at

the store shopping and I was checking

123

:

out, and this has happened before where

my debit card wasn't working and it

124

:

was just something with the machine.

125

:

They had changed the machine or something.

126

:

And I was like, look,

this is a debit card.

127

:

It's not a credit card.

128

:

It has money in the account.

129

:

I don't know, you know?

130

:

And so I didn't, I was just

trying to check it out and

131

:

the lady at the cash register.

132

:

You know, was trying to work with

me and just see what was going on.

133

:

And then this woman was standing

behind me and she tapped me on the

134

:

shoulder and she said, Hey, I know you

got it, but let me get this for you.

135

:

Yeah.

136

:

And I was like, I loved how

she said, I know you got it.

137

:

Right.

138

:

Like, she's like, I don't

think you're, like, you know,

139

:

trying to scam or anything.

140

:

Right.

141

:

Like, whatever.

142

:

Like I, I know you have it.

143

:

But she said, let me get this for you.

144

:

Yeah.

145

:

And because literally not normally my, my

own personality, I'd say, oh, no, no, no.

146

:

Don't worry about it.

147

:

I got the money and everything

and I wouldn't re necessarily

148

:

receive it that quickly.

149

:

Right.

150

:

But I was in this

homeschool money attitude.

151

:

Yeah.

152

:

And I was like, oh my goodness.

153

:

Homeschool money.

154

:

Yeah.

155

:

Right.

156

:

And I was like, okay.

157

:

Yeah.

158

:

Yeah.

159

:

And so she paid for my whole order.

160

:

And the funny thing is, is I had been

looking for some stuff and I went to

161

:

the store and when I was shopping.

162

:

I bought one of the item that

I was looking for, and then

163

:

I was like, you know what?

164

:

I don't wanna have to come back and

run out, so let me just go ahead

165

:

and put a couple extra in my basket.

166

:

So that I have plenty.

167

:

Yeah.

168

:

So it was one of the times where I

actually went on ahead and bought

169

:

more than I expected to buy.

170

:

Oh yeah.

171

:

Then I get up to the front and

she's like, let me get this for you.

172

:

And then I had the temptation.

173

:

Normally what I would do is when I

went out to the parking lot, I'd say,

174

:

Hey, I got more money here, you know?

175

:

Yeah.

176

:

And this bag or something.

177

:

Let me pay you back.

178

:

Yeah.

179

:

But I was like, no homeschool money.

180

:

I'm just, just receive.

181

:

I'm just gonna receive this.

182

:

I gotta do it for the show.

183

:

That's right.

184

:

That's right.

185

:

And just see how it feels.

186

:

And so I did that.

187

:

So I got this random money in the mail.

188

:

Yeah.

189

:

Then I got, I went to the store and, and

I always say, you know, we've paid for

190

:

people's stuff at the grocery street.

191

:

That's right.

192

:

We, we've done that.

193

:

Yeah.

194

:

But nobody ever does that for me.

195

:

Right.

196

:

Like it never happens.

197

:

Right.

198

:

It may have happened at some point

in this, you know, 20 years or

199

:

something, but it, not memorable.

200

:

Yeah.

201

:

But we've done it for so many other

people and just, and help people

202

:

out in just the most random ways.

203

:

That's right.

204

:

And it wasn't even a situation where

I was struggling or something, it was

205

:

just, she literally said, I know you

got it, but let me get this for you.

206

:

Yeah.

207

:

And I was like, okay.

208

:

Yeah, yeah.

209

:

2 Comm: Hey, friend, quick break.

225

:

226

:

So then it, it doesn't end there.

227

:

So I went to a conference

and I was really tired.

228

:

I had been up really late.

229

:

Got there really early.

230

:

I mean, it was just, you know,

multiple days of a lot of work

231

:

and I just wasn't feeling it.

232

:

Yeah, I was kind of tired.

233

:

I didn't wanna do anything extra.

234

:

I was having a great time.

235

:

I was learning a lot, meeting a lot of

great people, but it wasn't a moment where

236

:

I really wanted to do anything extra.

237

:

Right.

238

:

But then there was an opportunity to.

239

:

Be into a drawing where I would

win a piece of software that I

240

:

was really interested in, like

the number one thing that I really

241

:

wanted to have in our business.

242

:

And I was like, you know what?

243

:

Homeschool money, I'm gonna go

on ahead and enter my information

244

:

because this account here, my email

account when I registered, because

245

:

you have to put in your email address.

246

:

This email account is homeschool money.

247

:

That's right.

248

:

And it always is winning

things and things.

249

:

Yeah.

250

:

And so I put it.

251

:

Filled out the registration.

252

:

But like I said, like I think

I had a headache or something.

253

:

It was something going on.

254

:

'cause I was having a good time

and it was an amazing experience,

255

:

but I just didn't wanna do it.

256

:

Yeah.

257

:

So I went, went back, came,

you know, the night was over.

258

:

I come back the next day and I

was like standing around, you

259

:

know, going one place or other.

260

:

And this woman comes up to

me and she says, Hey Crystal,

261

:

it's so good to see you.

262

:

She was like, the team wants

to take a picture with you.

263

:

And I was like.

264

:

Looking around like, are you,

why are you talking to me?

265

:

Yeah.

266

:

Is there some other crystal?

267

:

Yeah.

268

:

Literally.

269

:

And I was like, uhoh.

270

:

Yeah.

271

:

I was like, why?

272

:

And she was like, you

know, you was the winner.

273

:

Yeah.

274

:

And I was like, winner of what?

275

:

And she told me what I had won and

I was like, no, you're kidding me.

276

:

And so she's like, no, I'm not.

277

:

We need to take a picture with

you and you need to claim it.

278

:

And I was like.

279

:

She said, didn't you read your email?

280

:

And I was like, no.

281

:

I, I've been, you know,

talking with people and stuff.

282

:

I haven't been on my email and

I opened up my email and sure

283

:

enough, there's the information.

284

:

Crystal, you're a winner.

285

:

Come get all this stuff.

286

:

It's everything that you wanted.

287

:

Yeah.

288

:

And I just could not believe it.

289

:

I was reading, I mean, I was

literally like almost in tears, right.

290

:

And I told him, I said.

291

:

This feels like I met

Michael Jackson or something.

292

:

You know, people always passing

out at the concerts back in the

293

:

day when they meet Michael Jackson.

294

:

I was just like so overwhelmed.

295

:

Like, 'cause another thing is I never

win anything in like baby showers, right?

296

:

So I go into the baby shower

and I'm excited for the baby,

297

:

and I'm excited for the family.

298

:

And then we get to the game

part and I almost get it.

299

:

I'll get like 10 of the things

and thinking I'm doing great.

300

:

And then there's somebody that always

knows, like every single lullaby.

301

:

Yeah.

302

:

And I'm like, how do you

even know off the roll bike?

303

:

Like, who knows all this stuff.

304

:

Yeah.

305

:

And I that I, I thought

I did such a good job.

306

:

Yeah.

307

:

So, so then I'm upset at the baby shower

because I was so close to winning.

308

:

Yeah.

309

:

It doesn't even matter what I was winning.

310

:

Right.

311

:

I just, I really, I, I, I like to win,

but I think I really hate to lose.

312

:

Yeah.

313

:

Like it's something about it to

where it always messes me up, so.

314

:

I was super excited about winning this.

315

:

And so that was the money in the

mailbox, the, the paying for my stuff

316

:

at the store and then the winning

this software for our business.

317

:

And that all happened in a short

amount of time whenever I just had

318

:

made the commitment that I'm going

to be abundant in our homeschool.

319

:

Journey and especially express that, yeah,

for everyone on the podcast, but make

320

:

sure that I'm not just talking about it.

321

:

Make sure that it's for me too, and

I'm staying in that, and not just

322

:

talking about it and forgetting

about it, but like every day.

323

:

And so I want everybody

to think about that.

324

:

Be looking for opportunities where there

could be, if maybe if you go ahead and

325

:

put your name in the hat, going ahead.

326

:

And claim it.

327

:

Like when they said I had

the money, I had to claim it.

328

:

Yeah.

329

:

You know, it wasn't that it just

came, the money wasn't in the mailbox,

330

:

the paper that said, I just need

to claim it was in the mailbox.

331

:

Yeah.

332

:

And so things like that, and if

the woman had have said, Hey, I'm

333

:

gonna pay for your stuff, and then

I chased her down and tried to

334

:

pay it back, I mean, that's right.

335

:

Each one of those situations could

have been completely different.

336

:

Yeah.

337

:

They could have, I could

have not gotten the blessing.

338

:

Yeah.

339

:

Just by my actions.

340

:

And so, and, and at the conference, you

never would've won what you ended up

341

:

winning if you weren't in the mind frame.

342

:

Of receiving and allowing yourself

to receive by, you know, taking that

343

:

extra effort and entering yourself.

344

:

And this wasn't like, you know,

this doesn't, don't let this

345

:

justify cause you guys to justify.

346

:

Like the lottery or something like that.

347

:

This is, it wasn't a case where she

crystal's about to, you know, start pay.

348

:

We're about to start paying money

to put in for the Powerball,

349

:

you know or buy lottery tickets.

350

:

No, that's gambling.

351

:

This was different.

352

:

This was just a drawing at a conference.

353

:

It was free to enter.

354

:

It.

355

:

Just take, took a little

bit of sweat equity.

356

:

Right.

357

:

A, a, a couple extra minutes.

358

:

To enter in your information to win it,

359

:

3 Comm: Hey, I hope

you're enjoying the show.

360

:

We'll get right back to the

discussion, but I do want to talk

361

:

high level with you real quick.

362

:

You see, transforming your

finances so you can self-fund your

363

:

homeschooling journey without a nine

to five job takes a roadmap, right?

364

:

And you may be wondering,

where do I even start?

365

:

Start at step one.

366

:

Our Homeschool Money Makeover

program breaks it down into five

367

:

practical steps that help any family

achieve a financially abundant.

368

:

Homeschooling lifestyle.

369

:

Step one, install the

abundance Operating system.

370

:

Most people believe that they

need two, nine to five jobs to

371

:

make it in America the truth.

372

:

With all the technology and the tools

available today, there's never been an

373

:

easier time to generate six figures.

374

:

A year in income working just 15

to 20 hours a week than today.

375

:

When you have a strong why for

homeschooling and you know the

376

:

real costs, you unlock the courage

that you need to become a money

377

:

magnet without a nine to five job.

378

:

Step two, get crystal clear about what

you're gonna do with your first $1,000

379

:

that you make outside of your day job.

380

:

Write down specific homeschool needs

that a thousand dollars can cover.

381

:

Yes, this is a small amount, but if

you can learn how to set a target

382

:

of make your first thousand dollars

outside of your nine to five job,

383

:

that's going to set a fire in your belly

and the determination that you need.

384

:

To make the next a

hundred thousand dollars.

385

:

Step three, find all the money

falling through the cracks in

386

:

your budget with Crystal's.

387

:

Three financial coaching certifications.

388

:

Listen, she's gonna help you be able to

streamline your budget and free up money

389

:

without sacrificing your favorite things.

390

:

You can't build a strong financial

future with money falling

391

:

through your pockets, right?

392

:

So let's plug up the leaks.

393

:

Step four.

394

:

Discover new ways to make money

and claim free money available

395

:

for homeschooling families.

396

:

We discuss grants scholarships,

proven fundraising opportunities

397

:

that Savvy Homeschoolers are using,

and we show you how to use them too.

398

:

Step five, launch or Scale your

Moneymaking Success System to completely

399

:

replace your nine to five job income.

400

:

Whether it's a side hustle, a freelance

work, or a new business, identify

401

:

your single most viable opportunity

and turn that into $3,000 in income.

402

:

$5,000, $10,000 a month in

income or whatever you need

403

:

to feel financially abundant.

404

:

Implementing these five streamlined

steps will make you feel more

405

:

financially empowered than ever before.

406

:

You'll gain the momentum that

you need by step number five

407

:

when you're making more money.

408

:

You're going to feel

unstoppable financially.

409

:

Through our marketing consulting

business, we've helped literally

410

:

hundreds of entrepreneurs

build online selling machines.

411

:

That's what we do in our business life

and launches, and we share our million

412

:

dollar automated selling system with you.

413

:

Inside the Homeschool

Money Makeover program.

414

:

all the video lessons, worksheets,

415

:

templates, and guides that you need

to walk through all five of the

416

:

steps to transform your finances.

417

:

And right now, during our special

introductory offer period,

418

:

you'll get bonus gifts plus our

lowest enrollment price ever.

419

:

your first thousand dollars back.

420

:

Fast.

421

:

Go to homeschool money.com

422

:

to watch our free class, and then you're

gonna get an inside look at the full

423

:

Homeschool Money Makeover program.

424

:

Don't wait.

425

:

Go to homeschool money.com

426

:

to start the free class and enroll

into the full program today.

427

:

so I'm going to just go ahead

and repeat the affirmation again.

428

:

I am a resourceful parent who

attracts multiple streams of income.

429

:

That flow effortlessly around

my homeschooling schedule.

430

:

Money comes to me in expected and

unexpected ways, allowing me to

431

:

provide excellent education and

magical childhood experiences for my

432

:

children with financial abundance.

433

:

So the biggest resistance to this

affirmation is the limiting belief that

434

:

good parents sacrifice money for time

with kids, or I can't make money, I can't

435

:

make real money while homeschooling.

436

:

This is either or thinking that

keeps you stuck in scarcity.

437

:

When abundance is possible in both areas,

the reality is that many professionals and

438

:

celebrities homeschool because it is the

only way to really have a flexible life.

439

:

They aren't always awesome because

they homeschool, like the kids aren't

440

:

always doing a bunch of amazing

things because they homeschool.

441

:

The reason why they homeschool is because

they, it allows their awesome life.

442

:

And so homeschooling is a really

great benefit for families and

443

:

it's a positive thing to focus

on being able to afford to do it.

444

:

It's an investment.

445

:

Yeah, that's right.

446

:

Okay, I'm gonna repeat the

positive affirmation once again.

447

:

I am a resourceful parent who

attracts multiple streams of

448

:

income that flow effortlessly

around my homeschooling schedule.

449

:

Money comes to me in expected and

unexpected ways, allowing me to

450

:

provide both excellent education

451

:

and magical childhood experiences for

my children with financial abundance.

452

:

So I wanna remind you that you were

chosen to homeschool your children.

453

:

And that same intuition that

guides your educational choices can

454

:

guide you to financial abundance.

455

:

You need to trust that support will come

to parents who are committed to giving

456

:

their children the best of both worlds.

457

:

That's your presence and prosperity.

458

:

Now, this trust will help you

open up to resources like what we

459

:

offer here at Homeschool Money.

460

:

One thing we offer is financial

education and proven money

461

:

and wealth building systems.

462

:

We also provide business opportunities

that are high profit and low stress.

463

:

And then we also offer free money sources.

464

:

Simply just by listening to this

podcast, that is gonna open up a whole

465

:

world of abundance for anyone who

is trying to homeschool their kids.

466

:

That's right.

467

:

All of this positive

affirmation and mindset.

468

:

Work is all a part of what comes

out of step one of the five step

469

:

homeschool money makeover system.

470

:

And so that's where you would find

that sort this sort of related content

471

:

in our overall course and program.

472

:

Yeah, so it's super fun to like go through

the podcast and implement the things

473

:

that we're talking about because by.

474

:

Talking about this abundant

provider affirmation and then

475

:

applying it to our lives.

476

:

You know, we're learning and growing

ourselves 'cause it's very expansive.

477

:

That's, and so I already was totally

positive about homeschool money, but

478

:

then by just doing this episode, I'm

like, I'm gonna take it to another

479

:

level and make sure that I'm open to it.

480

:

And then I got all this

great stuff going on.

481

:

Yeah.

482

:

So I'm really excited about the

next one that we have coming up

483

:

because we're going to be applying

each one of our affirmations to our

484

:

own lives, and I'm looking forward

to results for our own family.

485

:

That's right.

486

:

I am too.

487

:

We hope that you have

enjoyed this episode.

488

:

We hope that you will go back and play

it in slow motion particularly at the

489

:

affirmation part so that you can write

it down and memorize that and maybe

490

:

say that throughout the rest of your

day to yourself and really let this

491

:

affirmation sink in and do that until we.

492

:

Connect together in the next

episode of Homeschool Money.
