Speaker:

Hello homeschoolers.

2

:

Today we're going to talk about

eight ways to build a daily money

3

:

affirmations routine that finally sticks.

4

:

Here's how to integrate daily

money affirmations into your

5

:

life for maximum impact.

6

:

Intro: A fast growing number

of parents are starting their

7

:

homeschooling journey while others

have been homeschooling for years.

8

:

All of these parents are asking one big

question, how can I afford to homeschool?

9

:

We are here to answer that

important question once and for all.

10

:

Hi, I'm Crystal Obby.

11

:

And I'm Anthony Obby.

12

:

We've been homeschooling our five

kids for 13 years and we funded it.

13

:

Through our online consulting business

that we've been running for over 17

14

:

years now, we're combining Crystal's

financial coaching expertise with my

15

:

digital marketing background where I help

entrepreneurs launch and sell online.

16

:

We're here to help fellow homeschooling

parents self-fund their homeschool

17

:

journey and create lifestyle businesses.

18

:

For financial freedom without a nine to

five job, are you ready to start living

19

:

life on your own terms and make your

homeschooling experience a lot more fun?

20

:

Well then sit back, crank up

the volume, and enjoy this

21

:

episode of Homeschool Money.

22

:

Welcome, welcome.

23

:

Welcome to the show everyone.

24

:

I'm your host, Anthony Obby.

25

:

I'm Crystal Obby and we are so

excited to talk about eight Ways

26

:

to build a Daily Money affirmations

routine that finally sticks.

27

:

In that last episode, we really

laid out the benefits of doing daily

28

:

money affirmations this is the part

of the foundational step of the

29

:

Homeschool Money Makeover program.

30

:

In step one we talk about mindset.

31

:

We have to build on a foundation of

mindset because that's where it all begins

32

:

and ends for every single one of us.

33

:

Oftentimes, it is not a matter of you

not being able to make more money.

34

:

It's a matter of you don't

think you can or you may not

35

:

think that it's important to.

36

:

For some of us, we maybe trick

ourselves or maybe we're just

37

:

not aware of the actual need.

38

:

We think that homeschooling is going

to be free when you go into it.

39

:

And that is why in our free class,

on this topic that we share and we

40

:

invite you to go and listen to fully.

41

:

One of the things we talk

about as a foundational topic

42

:

is the true cost of free.

43

:

When it comes to homeschooling.

44

:

Nothing is free and you can do

homeschooling very inexpensively,

45

:

but it's not going to be free.

46

:

And so when you come to grips

with that and you have a true

47

:

assessment of what your need is.

48

:

Then you somehow gain the fire, the

motivation in your belly to do what

49

:

needs to be done so that you can

homeschool your children and transfer

50

:

your economic skills into ventures that

allow you to have the flexibility to

51

:

homeschool your children and be able

to make money and maximize your income

52

:

potential as a homeschooling parent.

53

:

So once you have the understanding

of how important it is to have daily

54

:

money affirmations, it's important

to understand how to actually

55

:

implement it into your daily schedule.

56

:

Because everyone's already so busy

and you know, you have to homeschool,

57

:

you have to run your business or,

or work your remote position, or you

58

:

have to just take care of your home.

59

:

Everyone has all these different priority.

60

:

It things to place into their

schedule, and it's like, I

61

:

don't need one more thing.

62

:

But if you understand how important it

is to start your day right with your

63

:

affirmations and have that foundation,

then you'll understand that it's something

64

:

that can't really be skipped on because

it's actually something that's going to.

65

:

Make the whole day better.

66

:

Having your mind right is gonna

energize you and make you have

67

:

a more powerful experience.

68

:

And so that's why it's so important

to understand not only the

69

:

benefits of affirmations, but then

also have the support on how to

70

:

actually put them into your time.

71

:

That's right.

72

:

And so let's get straight into it.

73

:

Number one, choose the

right time and place.

74

:

Now what I've found is that you

can be successful at anything

75

:

you want to do if it's important.

76

:

So sometimes people talk about.

77

:

What time is the best time

to homeschool your child?

78

:

Well, some people work different schedules

and they need to homeschool more in the

79

:

evening or on the weekend, or some kind of

flexible schedule is not always the first

80

:

thing in the morning or in the afternoon.

81

:

So.

82

:

You can be successful even

with homeschooling at any time.

83

:

But if you have the opportunity and you

have the flexibility to many times, the

84

:

best time to do something that's important

to you is going to be in the morning

85

:

because it's the first part of the day.

86

:

And that way, if you get important things

done at the first part of the day, then.

87

:

It's already done and

it can't be overlooked.

88

:

It can no, no distractions can come

and you just start your day off, right?

89

:

And so the second best time

to do things is at bedtime.

90

:

And those two times morning time and

bedtime are super effective because that's

91

:

when your mind is super receptive to

whatever you're doing right when you get

92

:

up and right when you're going to bed.

93

:

So if you have the chance,

you have the flexibility.

94

:

Use the morning time or bedtime

to do your money affirmations.

95

:

99

:

episode with a friend, your

co-op, or anyone who needs it.

100

:

They'll be glad you did.

101

:

Now, back to the show.

102

:

One way you can make sure to do that is

by pairing it with one of your habits that

103

:

you have in the morning or at bedtime.

104

:

So if you're a person who gets up

and drinks coffee, or you go for a.

105

:

Or at nighttime, but just

say before you go to sleep.

106

:

That's one thing that I was

just talking to our son about.

107

:

One way that I did my Bible reading

all the way from teenage my own teenage

108

:

years, all the way up until adulthood was

I read my Bible every night before bed.

109

:

And so it wasn't a specific time,

it was always just before bed.

110

:

And so I was telling him, whenever

you build your habits in based

111

:

on your actual routine, then.

112

:

That's how you can make sure to

do things and not have to have 'em

113

:

specifically on the, on the, on the

schedule and so, or on the clock, right?

114

:

And so.

115

:

When you pair this habit of doing your

morning affirmations or your bedtime

116

:

affirmations with the other things that

you do in the morning or at bedtime, then

117

:

it makes it pretty simple and automatic.

118

:

It's, you know, I do my skincare and then

I do my affirmations, and then I read a

119

:

little bit and then I go to sleep, or I

get up, I drink my water or my coffee, I

120

:

go for a walk and I do my affirmations.

121

:

It's very systematic and

it's an incredible way.

122

:

To stack all of your habits and for right

now, talking about affirmations, those are

123

:

the two powerful times to implement them.

124

:

Yeah, and I like this because Crystal,

you know, we are increasingly working

125

:

with more either entrepreneurs who

are targeting the homeschooling

126

:

niche, or we're working with

actual homeschoolers who are.

127

:

Pursuing their entrepreneurial

endeavors to afford it.

128

:

And that's what that, you know,

that's why it's a focus for

129

:

us within homeschool money.

130

:

We've seen the mindset of, some

folks is beneficial towards

131

:

the growth of their business.

132

:

And some maybe struggle with that

and have a more closed mindset.

133

:

That limits them and the opportunities

that they can take advantage of.

134

:

And so anything that could

help a person implement.

135

:

Their daily money affirmations is

gonna be a good thing to do, and that's

136

:

one of the benefits of putting your

affirmations in the morning because

137

:

then you get the benefit of having the

whole day impacted by your affirmations.

138

:

If you start the day off and then you're

going and feeling great at all your

139

:

meetings while you're homeschooling your

kids, just all your decisions, everything

140

:

is gonna be in a different attitude.

141

:

Yeah.

142

:

And so it can be convenient to do

it and go to sleep at night, and

143

:

it's, and, and that's very powerful.

144

:

But if you can start your day with

getting your mind right, your whole

145

:

day is just gonna be different.

146

:

So I would recommend, if at all

possible, starting the day with it.

147

:

But I always tell people

to do what works for them.

148

:

Something is better than

nothing, and it works either way.

149

:

But the number one way is gonna be to

do anything that just has to be done.

150

:

Do it in the morning, get it

done, and have the rest of

151

:

the day to enjoy the benefits.

152

:

That's right.

153

:

A second way to build a daily.

154

:

Money, affirmations routine

is to use the right language.

155

:

This is incredibly important because

when you speak in the present tense,

156

:

like I am financially empowered,

that sounds different to your brain

157

:

and your brain actually listens to

what you say the same kind of way

158

:

as when someone else is saying it.

159

:

So it's kind of like you're

programming your brain.

160

:

So when you say, I am something,

it's different than I will be.

161

:

Because I will be is in the future, and

you want to go ahead and be taking on the

162

:

identity of someone who is financially

empowered or I have all the money I need

163

:

to homeschool my kids, things like that.

164

:

The affirmations that you say to yourself

in the present tense are going to be.

165

:

Received in a way that helps you actually

feel different and how you feel and how

166

:

you think are very much intertwined.

167

:

And that will affect the results that

you get because how you think impacts

168

:

how you feel, and then it impacts your

actions and that will impact your results.

169

:

And so whenever you use that present

tense language, it is another hack to

170

:

help you be able to get better results.

171

:

You wanna avoid using negative phrases

because it's better to say, I am

172

:

courageous rather than, I am not afraid.

173

:

You wanna say what you are, you wanna

speak to yourself in the positive.

174

:

Not in a defensive mode, but in an,

in an aggressive, proactive mode.

175

:

Yeah.

176

:

The same way that you

would empower someone else.

177

:

You want to empower yourself.

178

:

That's right.

179

:

I am Fill in the blank of what you want

to be instead of playing off of a defense.

180

:

I don't want this, or I am not that.

181

:

That, that positive position saying

what you are versus what you are not.

182

:

Is, is a positive way to go, and that's a

stronger way to submit something down into

183

:

your, into your mind and into your, into

your psyche and solder that into your,

184

:

into your soul so that you feel good.

185

:

We always go for what we want

and naturally just go away

186

:

from what we want to avoid.

187

:

Yeah.

188

:

You want, you wanna talk

about what you aspire to be.

189

:

Right.

190

:

And that's, it's all about getting

yourself in the mindset of being able

191

:

to go and do the things and being.

192

:

Having your actions aligned

with the identity that you want.

193

:

That's right.

194

:

So that's what's gonna help you

and give you that extra boost.

195

:

That's good.

196

:

So another way to build a daily

money affirmations routine that

197

:

finally sticks is to number

three, engage multiple senses.

198

:

Comm 2: Hey, friend, quick break.

class on demand and get our

212

:

newsletter full of tips and support.

213

:

Don't wait.

214

:

Your freedom starts right now.

215

:

That's right.

216

:

If you say your affirmations out

loud, you're going to hear them

217

:

and you're going to feel them if

you just keep 'em in your head.

218

:

Yes.

219

:

That's great.

220

:

To say them in your head and just by

thinking about them, that's going to be.

221

:

Helpful to you, but whenever you,

like I was just saying, when you

222

:

say the words out loud, you have a

voice going into your ears and your

223

:

brain receives that differently.

224

:

And then also just the energy

of your actions with it.

225

:

Like imagine standing in the mirror

looking at yourself saying, I have all

226

:

the money I need to homeschool my kids.

227

:

You have energy with that.

228

:

You know you're moving your hands.

229

:

You can see your eyes,

you can smile at yourself.

230

:

You want to do that, and so

you can feel where you are.

231

:

You can see where you are,

you can hear where you are.

232

:

Just all these different ways that makes

it more real to you than just thinking it.

233

:

And so we wanna be super engaged and,

you know, vi visualize your success

234

:

and be emotional with it whenever

you're saying your affirmations.

235

:

Yeah, like whenever I go to

the gym it's, it's my sport.

236

:

It's what I enjoy doing.

237

:

And before I do, and let's say I am gonna

do bench press today, I I, I visualize

238

:

and I even try to feel what it's gonna

feel like to put the number of plates

239

:

on each side that I am trying to lift.

240

:

It's my goal and a part

of my own personal.

241

:

Sport of one to get to a certain, you

know bench press number for the year.

242

:

And so I'm always trying to up it

every, every week or I'll make a cycle

243

:

of making sure to increase my weight

towards that big number every month.

244

:

And, and so before I get in

there, I do visualizations.

245

:

I'll even like maybe hit

on my chest a little bit.

246

:

And that's a way of tricking myself

into sort of feeling how to feel

247

:

whenever I'm underneath that weight.

248

:

And you know, I kind of, you know,

kind of flex my arms and that kind

249

:

of thing and get my triceps ready.

250

:

It tho that's a part of my visualizations.

251

:

I'm engaging multiple senses

to prepare myself for that.

252

:

I do the same thing

before going for a run.

253

:

Imagine being in the

hot and imagine when my.

254

:

You know, my feet are hurting or whatever,

from the concrete and, and everything.

255

:

And that is preparing me for

what it is gonna feel like, you

256

:

know, at the, at the second mile

point or at the third mile point.

257

:

And and so it's so important, as you said,

to engage as many senses as you possibly

258

:

can towards your daily money affirmations.

259

:

And that is going to help you possess and

truly become on the inside the person who.

260

:

Actually is attracting and making more

money for yourself and for your children,

261

:

so you could afford homeschooling easily.

262

:

Okay, so let's move on to number four.

263

:

Another way to build a daily money

affirmations routine that finally

264

:

sticks is to make them visible.

265

:

This is one of the my funnest

ones that I like to do because I

266

:

like creating things to inspire.

267

:

Like even whenever I make my list

of things to do, I like using

268

:

different colored markers and I

always use different colored markers.

269

:

And I say, okay, like right now.

270

:

It's October, and what did I do?

271

:

I used orange and red for my

list of things to do and for

272

:

our monthly family calendar.

273

:

'cause I'm like, well,

this feels like fall.

274

:

So this whole month, as I'm looking at

our goals, looking at our activities

275

:

and all the outdoor concerts and

all the things that we have planned,

276

:

it's all in the fall colors.

277

:

And I just, mm-hmm.

278

:

I absolutely love it.

279

:

And so when you make something visible.

280

:

It just encourages you and so your

affirmations are the same way.

281

:

I like to get journals, I love journals.

282

:

I love getting journals that

are like my color of the year.

283

:

I like journals that have, you know,

scriptures or great sayings on the

284

:

front, and so that is super helpful

for me to write down my affirmations,

285

:

my thoughts and things like that.

286

:

And plans and goals.

287

:

Also putting things around your house.

288

:

On the wall, those are called anchors.

289

:

And so when you put maybe a little symbol

of something on your desk that reminds

290

:

you of what you're trying to do, or you

cut out some pictures and make a, a vision

291

:

board, something to make what you're

trying to do visible in your, on your,

292

:

on a mirror, on your desk, on a in, in

your wallet, you know, some people like

293

:

to carry around things in their wallet

and pull that out every now and again to

294

:

remind them of what they're trying to do.

295

:

And even.

296

:

If you don't have something physical,

you can use digital reminders.

297

:

You can make, you know, screens,

string covers and everything

298

:

on your computer that pop up.

299

:

Yeah.

300

:

Pictures that pop up.

301

:

Or even voice recorded.

302

:

Affirmations.

303

:

I know what we did one time

was we just recorded some

304

:

affirmations that we were doing.

305

:

Mm-hmm.

306

:

So then it's in your own voice.

307

:

Yeah.

308

:

And so I like doing that.

309

:

I like even doing the.

310

:

Recording the affirmations and

then putting it with a playlist.

311

:

Yeah.

312

:

And doing like my own,

like hype up playlist.

313

:

Yeah.

314

:

With my affirmations.

315

:

Yeah.

316

:

And so making things visible and to where

it's inspiring you throughout the day.

317

:

Everywhere you go in

different rooms in your car.

318

:

In your office that is gonna make it

more real and help you build that into

319

:

your life to where every time you look

at something, look at those things,

320

:

you're getting an extra boost to keep

you moving along on your ultimate goal.

321

:

That's right.

322

:

That's good.

323

:

Number five.

324

:

Combine your daily money affirmations

with visualization and gratitude.

325

:

So one thing that's important is

whenever you're visualizing what you

326

:

want and doing your affirmations.

327

:

It's a, and, and what you may be

wanting is, you know, of course

328

:

more money, bigger bank account

balance, a, a, a lifestyle change.

329

:

You know, just more activities,

more curriculum, more relationships.

330

:

You're it's in a, you're in

an attitude of wanting more.

331

:

But we also want to combine that

with the gratitude of what you have

332

:

now, because it's not all about

just looking to the future and

333

:

saying, this is more what I want.

334

:

It's all about also saying, I'm thankful

and grateful for what I have right now.

335

:

And so whenever you're able to look

at and appreciate all the blessings

336

:

that you already have, like if you

sat down right now and counted.

337

:

What's 25 things that we have right now

in our homeschool life that is beneficial,

338

:

that's helpful, and that's letting us

actually succeed right now, even though

339

:

we don't have all those other things.

340

:

That makes you feel content and it

makes you feel abundant right now.

341

:

And in that abundance, then you visualize

what else you want because we don't

342

:

want you to like visualize all these

things that you want, and then you

343

:

start feeling like really in lack, that

can actually backfire on you, right?

344

:

If you're constantly.

345

:

Visualizing into the future, you

need to be present right now.

346

:

And so gratitude is a

super important thing.

347

:

You already have a lot

that you can be maximizing.

348

:

But it's okay to need more.

349

:

So it's like we have five kids, we

have a lot of great things going

350

:

on, but of course there's some

other things that we want to do.

351

:

There's nothing wrong with that.

352

:

And acknowledging that is the first

step to being able to have it.

353

:

And that's how you won't ever

plateau and run into any, you know,

354

:

negative, you know, consequences or

anything of these kinds of things.

355

:

So you start with your gratitude and you

visualize the next things that you want.

356

:

Those are like.

357

:

The, the, the, the

double combo right there.

358

:

I'm glad that you spoke about this

and talked about this because we

359

:

don't want to create discontent by

Yeah, that's the word right there.

360

:

Discontent.

361

:

Yeah.

362

:

Discontent by just looking to

what we want and what, and, and

363

:

looking at ourselves now as though

we are just completely lacking.

364

:

Yeah.

365

:

So being grateful for what we have and

what we've been given now is so important.

366

:

And looking and then properly framing

the things that we want in the ways

367

:

that we want to grow in our finances.

368

:

And it helps to sort of test out

the reasons why we wanted that.

369

:

Are we just wanting that so that we can

just take more trips so that, so that we

370

:

can just buy, you know, better things?

371

:

Or is there some framework for our

futures, for ourselves and for our kids?

372

:

That we are wanting to increase our

resources for, so to create more

373

:

opportunities for them to prepare

for retirement in a better way

374

:

and or to, you know, up-level your

equipment so that you can have a, a,

375

:

a well-equipped homeschooling space

or home and those types of things.

376

:

So it's okay, as you said to.

377

:

Want to make more money we just have

to pursue that and frame that stuff so

378

:

that we're not like being in a place

of discontent and living in that place.

379

:

Yeah.

380

:

'cause you wanna enjoy the process.

381

:

That's right.

382

:

You don's don't wanna feel like,

oh, I don't have anything and

383

:

that's why I want something.

384

:

It's way better to appreciate what you

have and from there, just keep continue.

385

:

With your next level.

386

:

That's good.

387

:

Yeah.

388

:

Number six.

389

:

The number six way of building a

daily money affirmations routine is

390

:

to align it with financial action.

391

:

Comm 3: Hey, I hope

you're enjoying the show.

392

:

We'll get right back to the

discussion, but I do want to talk

393

:

high level with you real quick.

394

:

You see, transforming your

finances so you can self-fund your

395

:

homeschooling journey without a nine

to five job takes a roadmap, right?

396

:

And you may be wondering,

where do I even start?

397

:

Start at step one.

398

:

Our Homeschool Money Makeover

program breaks it down into five

399

:

practical steps that help any family

achieve a financially abundant.

400

:

Homeschooling lifestyle.

401

:

Step one, install the

abundance Operating system.

402

:

Most people believe that they

need two, nine to five jobs to

403

:

make it in America the truth.

404

:

With all the technology and the tools

available today, there's never been an

405

:

easier time to generate six figures.

406

:

A year in income working just 15

to 20 hours a week than today.

407

:

When you have a strong why for

homeschooling and you know the

408

:

real costs, you unlock the courage

that you need to become a money

409

:

magnet without a nine to five job.

410

:

Step two, get crystal clear about what

you're gonna do with your first $1,000

411

:

that you make outside of your day job.

412

:

Write down specific homeschool needs

that a thousand dollars can cover.

413

:

Yes, this is a small amount, but if

you can learn how to set a target

414

:

of make your first thousand dollars

outside of your nine to five job,

415

:

that's going to set a fire in your belly

and the determination that you need.

416

:

To make the next a

hundred thousand dollars.

417

:

Step three, find all the money

falling through the cracks in

418

:

your budget with Crystal's.

419

:

Three financial coaching certifications.

420

:

Listen, she's gonna help you be able to

streamline your budget and free up money

421

:

without sacrificing your favorite things.

422

:

You can't build a strong financial

future with money falling

423

:

through your pockets, right?

424

:

So let's plug up the leaks.

425

:

Step four.

426

:

Discover new ways to make money

and claim free money available

427

:

for homeschooling families.

428

:

We discuss grants scholarships,

proven fundraising opportunities

429

:

that Savvy Homeschoolers are using,

and we show you how to use them too.

430

:

Step five, launch or Scale your

Moneymaking Success System to completely

431

:

replace your nine to five job income.

432

:

Whether it's a side hustle, a freelance

work, or a new business, identify

433

:

your single most viable opportunity

and turn that into $3,000 in income.

434

:

$5,000, $10,000 a month in

income or whatever you need

435

:

to feel financially abundant.

436

:

Implementing these five streamlined

steps will make you feel more

437

:

financially empowered than ever before.

438

:

You'll gain the momentum that

you need by step number five

439

:

when you're making more money.

440

:

You're going to feel

unstoppable financially.

441

:

Through our marketing consulting

business, we've helped literally

442

:

hundreds of entrepreneurs

build online selling machines.

443

:

That's what we do in our business life

and launches, and we share our million

444

:

dollar automated selling system with you.

445

:

Inside the Homeschool

Money Makeover program.

446

:

Inside the course, you're gonna get

all the video lessons, worksheets,

447

:

templates, and guides that you need

to walk through all five of the

448

:

steps to transform your finances.

449

:

And right now, during our special

introductory offer period,

450

:

you'll get bonus gifts plus our

lowest enrollment price ever.

451

:

Making it easy to enroll and make

your first thousand dollars back.

452

:

Fast.

453

:

Go to homeschool money.com

454

:

to watch our free class, and then you're

gonna get an inside look at the full

455

:

Homeschool Money Makeover program.

456

:

Don't wait.

457

:

Go to homeschool money.com

458

:

to start the free class and enroll

into the full program today.

459

:

This is super important because we're

not just talking about, you know, saying

460

:

affirmations what we're talking about is.

461

:

How to get to our goals

in a faster, easier way.

462

:

And affirmations are part of that.

463

:

So if you do your affirmations and

you combine it with actions, then

464

:

you create this powerful combination

of, Hey, I did my affirmations and

465

:

I'm also increasing my budgeting.

466

:

So say I do my affirmations, and then

right after that I also take one.

467

:

Financial action, like maybe reviewing

the budget or maybe reviewing some

468

:

investment information or tracking

something or setting or reviewing goals.

469

:

So saying, Hey, in the morning I'm

gonna do my affirmations, and then right

470

:

after that I'm gonna take one minute

or 30 seconds and do at a action that

471

:

also moves me along that habit stack.

472

:

Right?

473

:

There is a combination that will continue.

474

:

Have paying dividends later.

475

:

And so you can use tools to do that.

476

:

So if you have like a budget tracking

software or app and then if you have

477

:

maybe you know, some kind of program

that you're in or anything like

478

:

that, or a journal that you have.

479

:

Something that you're using, that's a

tool that helps you move things along,

480

:

combine that with the affirmations.

481

:

Mm-hmm.

482

:

So A, do the affirmations.

483

:

B, do the tool.

484

:

And so when you do that, that

is going to be a habit that

485

:

gets you more results faster.

486

:

That's good.

487

:

That's really good.

488

:

Number seven.

489

:

This is the seventh way to build

a daily money affirmation's

490

:

routine that's gonna stick.

491

:

It is staying consistent.

492

:

Being consistent is always one of the

things that is recommended anytime

493

:

you're trying to do any type of goal.

494

:

And so whenever you're trying to

start something new like doing

495

:

affirmations, you wanna give yourself

time to be able to even make it

496

:

a root, a part of your routine.

497

:

And so that means remembering that

it take, it can take up to 21 to

498

:

66 days to form any type of habit.

499

:

So just put it on your

calendar and then just keep.

500

:

You know, doing it every

day, just keep showing up.

501

:

And if you do miss a day, just go by that

rule of I never miss two days in a row.

502

:

It's okay, have grace with yourself.

503

:

But just remember that the daily

action of doing something is

504

:

what's going to get you there.

505

:

And it takes time for things to

be just routine and automatic.

506

:

And so consistency is always gonna beat

intensity because think about it, you, if

507

:

you go to the gym and workout really hard.

508

:

For, you know, a week, what

results are you gonna get?

509

:

But you've been working out literally

since you were like a teenager.

510

:

And so I remember whenever we were really

young and I was like, you know what,

511

:

whenever you're older, you're gonna be

that guy that's still in shape because

512

:

you liked being athletic and you liked

working out just for the sake of it.

513

:

You like liked doing it.

514

:

Mm-hmm.

515

:

And so you're gonna have

compounding benefits.

516

:

So now that we've spent, you know, 25

years together, you're reaping some

517

:

of the benefits of being a person

who has consistently worked out.

518

:

And so it is not like you've

out here, been out here, just.

519

:

Working out and competing or something

like that and bulking up and then

520

:

doing that for just a month or two.

521

:

It's been a consistent habit, no matter

when we had kids or didn't have kids,

522

:

and so now you're benefiting from it.

523

:

And it's the same way here

with the money affirmations.

524

:

We are going to have better results if

we make it a part of our daily routine

525

:

and then we do it for the next year.

526

:

That's right.

527

:

That's right.

528

:

So the final way, number eight, the

final way of building a daily money

529

:

affirmations routine that sticks

is adapting and overcoming doubt.

530

:

So this is whenever we have grace for

ourselves because let's say whenever we

531

:

talked about earlier, like saying I am

this, and really owning that identity.

532

:

Well, if you are at a place where you

don't have the confidence yet to say it

533

:

and you won't just go ahead and do it,

then go ahead and adjust it if you need

534

:

to and build yourself up and say, and

use future tense and say, I will, because

535

:

then that's still positive for yourself.

536

:

And so just stay positive and just make

whatever corrections you need to say in

537

:

order for it to be real to you, because

you don't want to lie to yourself.

538

:

Yeah.

539

:

You don't want to feel like, you know,

imposter syndrome syndrome or whatever.

540

:

Exactly.

541

:

Talking to your own self,

your own self will cry out and

542

:

be like, no, you not either.

543

:

Right.

544

:

So Exactly, and so that imposter

syndrome will hit kick up and then

545

:

you'll have a whole different issue.

546

:

And so you want to be flexible.

547

:

The whole point is to have success

and so you always want to just.

548

:

Support yourself and do what you need

to do to be able to stay consistent.

549

:

And then you also want to revisit

and refine your affirmations as your

550

:

goals, you know, continue to change.

551

:

Because right now, here at this time,

you may need to say something and

552

:

then a year from now if you keep.

553

:

Listening to this podcast and you keep

implementing these things, you're gonna

554

:

have different affirmations 'cause you're

gonna be in a different place if whenever

555

:

you start to implement things, you change

and grow and you never stop needing to

556

:

grow and never stop needing affirmations.

557

:

They just change.

558

:

And so right now you may have.

559

:

Had some affirmations from a few years

ago that are outdated and you just need

560

:

to update them and then get them more

into tune with where you're trying to go.

561

:

Now, especially like for us, whenever

we first had our first child, what we

562

:

needed to do was different than what

we need to do now that we have five.

563

:

We're a completely different

family now that we have five

564

:

kids, and so those things.

565

:

Are important to do is to always just

say, Hey, I'm going to review that.

566

:

And we talk about that in another

episode about just having that daily,

567

:

weekly, monthly, annual check-ins

in life on goals and everything.

568

:

And so whenever you update your

goals, you also need to update your

569

:

affirmations and then you also.

570

:

In order to adapt and overcome doubt is

it's important to have that vision board.

571

:

So keeping it in front of you, but

also get yourself around supportive

572

:

communities and supportive people.

573

:

So one part of your

community is this podcast.

574

:

We're here for that reason.

575

:

And then another thing is to just

look at who you're listening to

576

:

and talking to in everyday life.

577

:

And remember that.

578

:

Having more people around you and

having more supportive information,

579

:

content and just inputs, that is

always going to help you get where

580

:

you want to go faster because.

581

:

Any type of resistance to what you're

wanting to do is gonna create more

582

:

friction and it's gonna slow you down.

583

:

So just be aware that it's gonna

be easier for you to overcome.

584

:

Doubt.

585

:

Doubt if you have positive reinforcements.

586

:

And so you wanna do everything you can do.

587

:

When you get up and you're

talking to yourself, you don't,

588

:

you know, we're not there.

589

:

We're not saying find somebody

else to encourage you.

590

:

We're saying get up, encourage yourself.

591

:

Go to sleep.

592

:

Encourage yourself.

593

:

That's right.

594

:

It doesn't really, we didn't, we didn't

talk about what happened in between time.

595

:

It doesn't matter.

596

:

Mm.

597

:

Because, you know, we're taking control of

what we say and do and think on our own.

598

:

I love it.

599

:

And that, yeah, that

way we have more power.

600

:

I love it.

601

:

I love it.

602

:

And that like directly ties into,

and what you're saying is basically.

603

:

Your number one enemy, your number

one battlefield is not the government.

604

:

It is not the economy.

605

:

It is not the marketplace.

606

:

It's not your niche.

607

:

It's not your boss.

608

:

The battlefield is your mind.

609

:

And these daily affirmations and

implementing this Daily Affirmations

610

:

routine is going to help transform

the number one thing that will

611

:

impact and transform your finances,

and that is your very own mind.

612

:

Change your mind, change your

finances, change your life.
